Art Gallery - Costa Rica

The ideas come up as quick sketches, that are transformed and evolved into more complex pictures that every one interprets in different ways. Even though the portrayal may be seen from different angles, basically what is seen is the same.

What people see is a concrete image of a person’s idea behind the picture.

That is how the art of moving freely out of nothing and creating an own personality, which later is called art, arises.

Inspiration

I got inspired by the soul in a picture by William Bouguereau, the sadness and pain in a painting by Luis de Morales, the subjectivity of El Greco, the unique detail of Evelyn De Morgan and the ordinariness of Van Gogh.

Furthermore, I get inspiration in the simple and complex, the routine of the things that pass by unnoticed, the loneliness and the silence that invite to meet God and His mysteries.

Also I get inspired by everything that does not inspire me anything, and at the same time inspires me everything…
